Alas, the better we know… the less we feel.
Gotta follow the rururururururus.
It’s ok. Some things don’t deserve to be translated.
Uhm.. I don’t understand that language.
It’s not the size of the content, it’s how you play.
Increased prices, decreased selling amount for items, the chance to have your stuff decay over time. Most games that let you collect always end with the player having fat stacks of everything. That’s why I’m bored with minecraft and stardew valley.
One of the things that I dread about No Man’s Sky, is what caused me to stop playing Starbound, might be even worse with no man’s sky, is that I ran out of things to do.
Although I did spend over a year playing Starbound, but after the fun of building and exploring wore off, there wasn’t much else for me to do.
I really do hope that No Man’s Sky includes lots of fun things to do, because all I have seen so far has been eye candy.
I really did enjoy the music and in game atmosphere in Starbound, it really helped me feel like a lonely little fish alien quietly looking for a nice planet to call home.
“Playing Starbound again might tie me over until No Mans Sky is finally released.”
No Man’s Sky is released.
…Unless you mean updated/modded to where it actually has content?
[Side note: I enjoy the game, but am saddened by the lack of depth.]
Well, that shows how long since I have played it! I mostly just dug all of the way to the bottom of my starting planet, and then built a tower all the way up until I could reach asteroids from my house. XD
I did enjoy the pony race mod though. That and a mod to let me grow pixels from my houses garden.
Good times, but hopefully each of the games included races include more in depth stories and quests to make playing more immersive.
Playing Starbound again might tie me over until No Mans Sky is finally released.
The only other game that I’ve been playing has been Warhammer The Hunt Begins, cannot wait to play the Emperor Titan.
It was honestly underwhelming. They cut and altered so much stuff that the whole idea of ‘pixels’ was all but lost beyond “I dunno, its their currency.” Plus how many things now take up both slots of an inventory, how linear and simple upgrading your gear has become considering it’s a proceduraly generated universe, how much most of the weapons just completely suck, etc.
It IS finished. It’s in 1.0 now.
To be fair, if Earth plants were all sapient, I wouldn’t eat them and probably starve to death. Good thing they’re not.
Is that from that one game Starbound? I miss that game, hope it gets finished someday.
Now imagine if every single plant growing from the earth had a face and talked to you. D:
more for me then.
@ArmadilloEater
‘‘Are you going to eat that?’’
Chihuahuas were originally bred as self-propelled dinner; I think they know, and that’s why they’re like that.
Well, I’ve never eaten one or had one as a pet.
Yeah, it always makes for interesting culture clashes. Like going to a friend’s house, seeing a pet guinea pig and asking “Are you going to eat that?”.
Theoretically you could cut the bacon into strips.
There’s also Back Bacon (of which Canadian Bacon is a subtype of) aka Rashers which are more common in the UK. It’s got the medallion of the loin, but also a small bit of streaky bacon on the end.
Other than Rashers (which have two cuts), you wouldn’t find Streaky Canadian Bacon, for the same reason you wouldn’t find a T-Bone Ribeye, they’re two different parts of the animal.
