Sort of makes me think about the last novel I read. It didn’t involve multiverses, but from the main character’s perspective nothing really changes for him.
 
He sets off to write a novel about how his father drowned, gets started, and ten chapters in gives up. And at that point the story wasn’t even a quarter done. From there-on out he turns more into an observer and commentator of sorts.

when you get down to multiverse theory it’s boring and stupid, so writing fiction about that is even worse than writing about an infinite multiverse. who wants to read a story about how you can’t do anything, nothing special happens, then you just sort of die?

that’s only a joke though, and not true. however likely OP is to be a faggot, if there are infinite universes, then there will be infinite universes in which they’re not a faggot. that’s how infinity works.
an infinite multiverse is even more terrible for your story than a finite one! so watch out!
 
Well when you get down to multiverse theory it’s less about an infinite probability of X and more, “this is why this universe is the only habitable one”. Every other universe may not have the fine-tuning to sustain life.

a word of warning: when you’re writing a story, keep away from multiverses unless you really know what you’re doing. so easy to make a story completely ridiculous because why don’t they just portal to happyquestria where all problems are solved
