Nice cover up there Jim, we all know that you know the truth, Hasbro are very good at making their staff keep their mouth shut.

This doesn’t actually “confirm” anything; Jim has been quite candid about not having any professional connection to the IDW comics or any pressing desire to read them on his own time, and there’s no readily apparent reason this would be any different. If McCarthy said something like this, that could be taken as a done deal, but there was never any indication that any of the show staff were involved with the GoH toyline or any potential peripherals; a finished miniseries of comics and graphic novels and book tie-ins for GoH could drop later this week and nobody at DHX would know anything about it.

They are hella quality toys; I’ve only managed to find the Celestia, NMM, and Discord so far in the wild, but they’re damned impressive figures for the price point.
