Ugg, i hate those large syringes. Aside from the other thing i post here, i also have some bad time whenever i have to get a blood sample. And due to my complexion, they had a hard time seeing the correct spot of the blood vein, and they ended up stabbing me 5-7 times with those large blood syringe around the same spot. Repeatedly.
……Then they gave up and use the other arm instead. Fyayk.
It was not pleasant. But luckily i got over it.

The Fluffiest
I had awful experiences with needles as a kid; Being in a not particularly affluent part of the country back in the early 90’s all my shots as a kid were done with syringes that hurt. Then I had a cyst on the back of my left wrist that my parents opted to have them try to treat. This involved me laying on a doctor’s chair weeping in pain for a solid 15 minutes as they very slowly tried to use a thick syringe to draw the fluids out of it.

Which was a double shitty experience because now I’ve got one on the back of my left shoulder that I refuse to have looked at because I know that it wouldn’t be as easy and relatively painless as simply making a small incision to drain it (and because I have crappy medical coverage that I don’t trust to do jack shit for me, thanks Obamacare.) but at least having had a cyst I can tell by it’s squishy texture (and the fact that it hasn’t gotten bigger over the last couple years, and that they didn’t notice anything wrong when I had to have a chest x-ray) that it’s probably benign. Still, its unsettling to be frequently aware of a bulge on your body that doesn’t belong there.

Well, of course. From that day on, the needles knew they had been bested, and that if they wanted to avoid being shattered against your steely hide they had best cooperate.
