I know, but it’s the most logical reason that I thought :T
Air doesn’t typically move that fast unless you’re doing something crazy. Pinkie’s breeze is way smaller and slower than that :q
Or maybe the jump of Pinkie did enough breeze to move the ball?
Personally I think Pinkie just happened to be the previous holder of the Equestria ball bouncing championship
An alternative way of interpreting this is that Pinkie saw that Dash was about to miss the ball and decided to intervene.
It’s possible she shoved Dash hoping to push her back under the ball, or at the very least she wanted Dash to be able to blame her for failing to keep the ball up so that Dash wouldn’t blame herself.
Which would be incredibly Pinkie.
Stuff constantly vanish in the show, like in the newest episode when fluttershy takes off the green wig it disappears for about 2 frames
Even Rarity has got fresh with her horn on one occasion (>>938440), albeit when she was acting out some of the worst aspects of her character. And Rainbow’s tail might as well be reclassified as a brake handle for the purposes of export legislation by now.
But yeah. Seems ponies forgive very easily.

Eh, I dunno. Maybe it’s a combination of how they view Pinkie and Rainbow Dash being very physical.
Also, the ball vanishes for a frame as she catches it. That’s odd.
