I know how you feel. I’m in a community program where I have to deal with this incredibly stupid, STUPID person. The threaten to kick me out of the program for reacting to him negatively yet they seem to have little problem letting him get away with being a brain dead borderline R(yaay)ed pain in the ass. The guy constantly talks despite having nothing to say. Everything that comes out of his mouth is just pure inane nonsense or stupid bulls(yay)! All day long he asks the stupidest questions and is utterly incapable of understanding a single thing anyone says to him. Nobody in the program likes him all that much yet I get in trouble for saying what most of them are probably thinking. Basically, I look like the bad guy because I openly find him absolutely unbearable to be around.

No. But I was a pretty Shyayty person and I unfortunately still have moments here and there. I’m trying to move past that and be better, but bad habits and such peek up and I end up making hasty/terrible choices (As you can plainly see with my blow up earlier). In short, I try to change and be better, but it keeps blowing up in my face. To the point where I wanna just give up sometimes….

Characters (and the audience) have forgiven worse actions that were done for lesser reasons, so I don’t see why Starlight should be an acceptation.
 
I would go into more detail, but I really don’t want to anymore. I’ll just be wasting my time and it’s not like anyone cares what I think anyway. So please, let’s just agree to disagree and drop this. Because this discussion has gone nowhere, and will never go anywhere. Again, I’m sorry for making a scene.

Honestly, the only thing that will let Starlight move on from her moments of insanity is that she has to do something that will make Our Town a memory, and a really positive one. Everything is a ‘what have you done for me lately’ kind of thing, so until something else important happens, Starlight is gonna be the mare that started a cult because her friend moved away. That isn’t something that lives it down easily..and ponies are gonna make that apparent, like Spike.

Look, I’ve said this before. I relate to Starlight and her struggles and bad habits tendencies that keep popping up despite her trying to shake it off. So when people don’t like/hate her and say horrible things about her despite her efforts, that makes me think the same thing will happen to me. Everyone will find whatever reason to hate my guts no matter what I do.
 
I know I’m taking this so idiotically personal, but it’s true. And I now just gave you all a reason to not think very highly of me because of me blowing up like that for such a stupid reason. Again, sorry for that. And don’t be concerned about me, I ain’t worth your time……

I disagreed with you.  
If you can reach your breaking point by discussing the show with others, that’s a sign you should probably spend more time thinking about other things. Sorry, but getting this worked up over a fictional character isn’t healthy at all. Neither is being defensive of said character to the point you reject how interpersonal relationships work and you get genuinely upset if other characters make her feel anything but good.  
I hope you take this to heart and focus on something else for a while. This is actually concerning.

Look guys. I’m really sorry for that. This doesn’t normally happen, I swear. In fact, this is the first time I outright blew up at someone here. I know “reaching my breaking point” is a pretty damn flimsy excuse at best, but it was the cause of it. I know I can’t take it back and most likely just lost all creditably, but I really am trying to fix this issue of mine. But I keep slipping and now I think I’m finally gonna pay the price.
 
My thoughts on Starlight will never change. And the haters won’t change their minds either. I understand that now. I will never understand your guy’s reasons for hating her, and I may not be OK with it, but I’ll learn to deal with it. It might take a little while, but it’ll happen. But all I can do now is say I’m sorry. And I truly am sorry…..
 
And I assure you, and everyone on this site who was unfortunate enough to deal with my poor behavior in the past month, it won’t happen again.

No. I get like this when I’ve reached my breaking point! I’ve been dealing with this for almost a year, and I’ve tried to be the voice of reason, the peace keeper, whatever you wanna call it. And after over a hundred failures that DON’T end with agreeing to disagree, I’ve had enough! I mean my God! This is worse than the Flash Century thing three years ago! I can’t go anywhere without this rearing it’s ugly head! If you don’t like her, fine. But why, I ask, WHY can’t us fans have some peace? It’s herd to enjoy something whenever people just parade around with their hate.

Starlight Glimmer is a horrible miserable poor excuse for a character with no redeeming qualities and anyone who thinks else, is a damn MORON! This includes myself. In fact, I’m the biggest moron on the face of the planet-NO. Universe! And I guess I’m as worthless as her, because my struggles, tendencies, trials and tribulations match hers!

Yes, she does need a constant reminder on what she did. What she did was very severe, worthy of imprisonment, and she is not entitled to peace from the truth just because she doesn’t like being confronted with it. Guess what, that’s life. When you wrong others and want to show people you’re sorry, you don’t get to tell them when to stop talking about what you did.  
Especially until she actually blames herself and herself alone for her own actions, Spike has every right to call her out. She nearly prevented his birth. Really, not only is Spike justified in reminding her, but she owes him an apology.  
Starlight didn’t move on after Sunburst moved away and she started a cult. These are things she decided to do with her life. Yet she places the blame on the event (her friend moving away) rather than the ludicrous way she chose to deal with the experience. She doesn’t even take the friendship lessons to heart. She even actively avoids the lessons altogether. The only thing she cares about is succeeding and right now she treats making friends as a means to succeed, rather than better herself and learn to be invested in the interests and feelings of others. That isn’t working on yourself in the slightest.

No he’s not. I know I’m getting pretty damn annoyed by this.She doesn’t need a constant reminder on what she did. She already knows. And is constantly working on it. She’s not like Discord who goes about doing his thing not caring half the time.  
Bottom line: it’s in the past. Bringing it up constantly isn’t helping anyone or anything and everyone needs to learn how to let it go and move on. Because if not, you’re no better that how she use to be (I’d argue even worse).

To be fair, most of the things Spike has done aren’t that bad and his greed growth episode was the result of his biology and his caretaker not knowing how to properly take care of him.  
As for Spike trying to frame the owl, he was being a child that felt he was about to be replaced. That episode undermined itself by taking place during the day and the others being insensitive in giving this random owl the same special treatment they’d given him the night before

Its not getting old. In fact, it needs to happen more because it its the complete opposite of what you’re suggesting, her past actions are actually downplayed quite a bit for the sake of friendship and new main character.
