He choose himself the Dragonlord,
he introduced the first friendly changeling to the ponies… Which became the king of the chagelings.
This dragon has great responsibilities !

I’ve been thinking that an interesting way to utilize the fledgling alliances between Equestria and neighboring nations would be to temporarily sever them. Chrysalis could try and use the others for her revenge, disguising herself and doing false flag operations and/or be an agente provocatrice to wage war between Equestria and its neighbors.
First, Chrysalis could go to Yakyakistan as a pony and do… well, pretty much anything. After that, take Ember’s place and lead the dragons to attack. Getting the griffons up in arms would probably require some more creativity: even though it was hinted Gilda would grow to some sort of a role model for the griffons, they probably wouldn’t follow her to a war. Juggling her puppets would probably be difficult to manage alone, but she might still have some drones that haven’t undergone the transformation.
In the event of a war, a couple of shielded safe spots such as Canterlot, Ponyville and the Crystal Empire would probably be established. However, even the alicorns can’t be everywhere at once. Victory would likely go to Equestria eventually – but not before the happy-go-lucky ponies having to endure some pretty serious emotional and physical scars.
The official, draconic ambassador of the ponies who has shifted entire leaderships seemingly on a whim? Or this unusually nice young man(who happens to be a dragon) who really likes the ponies and would love ya to pieces if you didn’t screw with them?
Spike didn’t get these two where they are by being diplomatic, per say, but because he was genuine with his attempts at friendship.
Before letting the comments run into debate, I’m not worshiping Spike, k’ ?
I just wrote this description cuz this was the idea on what I have based this art :)
@thatguy
Bingo. Remember how he handled power in at the summit in Canterlot, and when he was randomly given command of the guard in the Crystal Empire?
Its interesting that most of his those so far that he shares a deep bond with, seem to rise in ranks. The number one assitant to unicorn Twilight, who laterbecomes a an Alicorn Princess. Chooses to help Princess Ember win the Guantlet of Fire and freely gives the Bloodstone Scepter to her, therby granting her the title of Dragon Lord. Of course later discovering and befriending Thorax. As well to help him recieve amnesty to stay the Crystal Empire. Not mention instrumental to the Season 6 finale. I am begining to see a pattern. He has the serious makings of becoming ambassodor.
@PonyPon
I guess the only way to that happen is using the Spike’s past. A poor example can be: his egg was stolen for Celestia, killing his parents in the process intentionally or by accident.
@NowhereSH
Uuuuuh… I don’t know how to turn this character like that right know but.. That would be sure something.
(adult Spike tho, his normal design just.. doesn’t fit with a mean face)

I mean, which do you trust more?

But this is all my view on it, you understand.
If it’s a public position, then no, it won’t send the wrong message.
Which I’m sure won’t send anyone the wrong message.
“Oh god, they sent the dragon. They want us to stand down bad.”
That’s cool! It’s good art. :3

The Zeppo
And everyone he ever cared about is gone and forgotten.
300 years in the future Spike, thanks to all his connections, is the most influential shadow power of the planet

Nah, I think it’s pretty accurate.

Its certainly a pipe dream.
