Heck it kinda confirms a headcanon of my own that Changelings as a whole were sort of “damaged”. The healed ones are kinda closer to the Fae origins of the actual changelings in IRL myths.

I don’t know why they wouldn’t. They’re different, but there’s so much more variation and potential in the new designs than the old, and I love the old designs. We still know so little about changelings, so as far as I’m concerned there’s still a lot of room for interpretation and adaptation to individual headcanons and designs.
