She seemed pretty bummed about it in earlier parts of the comic, but maybe not reacting to the degree you’d hope.
The ironic thing is that the main message of the comic almost certainly reflects my beliefs, but the fact that they think the Mane 6 needs to learn this lesson irks the Hell outta me. I thought they had more moral fiber than this…
Fucking IDW, I was actually looking forwards to this arc!
We both know Shy cares too much about Discord to just skirt by Discord’s personality death with a minor frown, (I think Bats! was a good indicator of such morals).
But these are the comic people, such character consistency would only get in the way of the story they want to tell. And it’s Starlight’s story. So her story it will remain.

I strongly disagree with that third sentence. And I also know Fluttershy is a better Pony than this.
Get your fucking bias out of this. Saying that Fluttershy would be ok with her canonical friend’s Identity Death is fucking horrific.
Because now the fucker’s behaving for once.
She was pretty bummed when he changed personality, but now he’s good.
Their power struggle of a relationship was the real mockery.
Not that she’ll be happy for long.
He just can’t seem to accept Luna’s way of eating lately, whether in the Reflections arc, or here. He always thinks Luna is making a piggy out of herself.
Kibitz isn’t a fan of Luna’s eating habits.
