There actually is a liquid IRL that you can breathe in, though I hear it’s pretty rough going back to breathing air.  
If the slimia’s bodily compositiin was similar enough to that liquid, I think she’d be kinda mad that she couldn’t even suffocate someone, but she may just get a kick out watching them painfully readjust to air.

Well, she’s not totally incapable of harm. If she could sneak up on somepony while they were sleeping, she could attempt to drown them by trying to go into their lungs through their mouth or nose  
Though if she tried it, they’d probably just cough her up.

But you know the slimia would totally be angrily saying that they’re in an acid bath and to stop enjoying it at once.

Thinking it over, I feel like if the Slimia began crying uncontrollably, she’d actually go from being a gel-like goo, to considerably more and more watered down from her tears… leaving her as a very literal pool of misery.

She’ll be truly reformed during the arc where a villain gives her the power to kill. But after how nice everyone treated her even while she was ineffectually trying to commit murder, she’ll be unable to bring herself to do it and thus her status as a good guy will be at the very least considered by her…  
Or whatever Badum has planned but I wanna see more of her cause she needs nice hugs considering how sad her failures are making her.

I sort of want to have a part three where the Slimia is just crying on a countertop, despair wracking her regarding her situation, feeling abandoned by her parents and society and unable to do anything.
 
Meanwhile, Pinkie’s dressed like a psychologist, and steadily feeding cookies to the unfortunate Slimia.
 
… Pinkie didn’t ask for this, after all, but she knows how important it is to be there for her friends. Heck, for anyone.

No, she’s literally incapable of harm. It took all her strength to even lift Panko, and was only even able to hang onto her because Ponk sat back and let it happen. Against an opponent that was actually intently fighting her off she’d get the gooey crud kicked out of her.

Maybe, but I’m more intent on poking fun at villains who are evil for the sake of being evil for this one :P
 
Also I’m fascinated with villains and their progressions to good (and vice versa). Basically growing up on her own made her too proud to accept help or friendship from anyone, and feeling inclined to live up to her parent’s horrid legacy is what’s driven her to join the Villain’s Guild (Who only accepted out of fear of what her folks might do to them if they escaped Tartarus and learned how they treated their kid) and try to become an infamous villain in her own right. She just (very thankfully) lacks any real ability to be a villain outside of intent.

I want her to have a name that reflects her own percieved villainness though. Taffy’s adorable (And yeah it could be like Pank’s nickname for her) but it’s not something her parents would have given her or something she’d willingly run around using :P
