If you remember this episode of FOP correctly, it was in an alternate present where Mr Turner never met Mrs Turner and became an evil dictator. I believe this could very well be set in an alternate present where Rainbow Dash was never initiated into the Wonderbolts (and maybe became an evil dictator, but what do I know?).

Actually Trixie, you are statistically more like to significantly change your life due to the fact you are a backround character. You see, the lives of main characters must never change too radically (which is why Spike couldn’t learn anything nice about dragons, Rarity’s prince turned out to be an asshole, Applejack got her farm back due to contrivance and stupidity) but as a minor character, you have potential to change, just like how the Cakes got twins.

I guess they just don’t want her.
 
I mean, the real reason she hasn’t joined the Wonderbolts is because it would completely screw the status quo of the show over, but it would be nice to hear a legit reason why she hasn’t made it despite all the shit she has accomplished. Until then I’m just gonna believe the Wonderbolts just dislike her for whatever reason.
