Officially, yeah. Fans call them Wham, ACDC, and Cars because of a translation error. However, technically, there’s very few official instances that have corroborated the official English spellings of their names. Most sources call them ワムーとエシディシとカーズ、which without any romaji furigana somewhere near their names just looks like Wham, ACDC, and Cars.
Ultimately, those are their real names; Wammu, Esidisi, and Kars.
Santana is the exception, though. :3
It is in the Manga. I’m ok with the name changes so far. I read the Series up to Part 7 in full when they came out in scans.(Since there was no other way to read them back then.) So I’m re-reading them as they are released over here to see changes and such. Kars, Eisidisi, and Wamuu, are fine and get away with their spelling.
