So cute
Yes, the MMD models have far less polygons (although we normally count in vertices, although we often go by material, because there is only a certain amount of vertices materials can be applied to which is 10.000 and we have a vertex-limit for PMD/PMX models, which is something around 65.000 or so. Don’t ask, we’re… weird), mostly because it makes it easier for rigging and physics (I hate physics, and physics hate me). Though the rigging for the Pony models is terrible, if you go by MMD standards and the facial sliders are glitchy as all fuck and some expressions aren’t even there. I don’t know about the SFM models, but the MMD models are terrible, IMO. The first PMD models were decent compared to the PMX models, though, although they did not have any facial expressions and the legs were regular bones instead of IK bnes.
I KNOW!
I looked at it a few times, thinking something was off, then I realized, pegasi and bat ponies have their wings coming out just behind their shoulders.
Fear Flutterbuttwings!
