I’m going to be upfront with you Ian. You’re right - you’re not special here. I’m not either. Almost no one here is, and that’s for one simple reason. This place isn’t about us, not as individual users. It’s about the Booru. It’s about creating and maintaining a massive library of pony images for all of us to enjoy. Almost no one sticks out here, and if they do, that’s not necessarily a good thing. This isn’t a place for personal glory, it’s not about page views or comments. It’s about the images, and little else. If you want that kind of community, where you as an individual can stick out, try deviantart, or Tumblr, or Facebook, or… Any number of places, really. Most of us have somewhere like that already, and I think you’d be happier sharing your stuff in an environment like that.
 
Besides, if you make yourself stand out within a few hours of joining an online community, that might be cause for concern. Don’t sweat it.

At times; I know exactly how you feel; and I’m not here to “beat you up “ or anything else like that. Just remember this: things will get better. My life with depression and anxiety has been a rocky road, but if there is one thing I’ve learned, it is that nothing is permanent. Stay happy, and smile :)

I would also suggest an art program like Inkscape/Ponyscape if you are going to go for more ‘Show Accurate’. It’s what I started out on and works pretty well from what I remember. I have some tutorials if you ever wish to start on it. :3 Might I ask what you are currently working with? GIMP or something similar?

Oh. Well yeah, your gonna catch flack if you try to ship your OC or Ponysona with ANY character really. For many reasons that are both coherent and incoherent. That happens with a LOT of people though. You pair up with your favorite FC and they will hound you back and forth. You do a fanfic about them fawning over your OC and that fic will burn in the deepest pits. So you ain’t the only one out there that gets hate for that. The best you can do is simply post your stuff and let it be. If people don’t like it then what? Does that mean anything more then someone has a different opinion then you?
 
Seriously though. Don’t take it too harsh. And… as for those that say certain things… they are either trying to get a raise out of you or make you angry or sad. Most likely due to them having bad lives themselves… Which isn’t right. A big thing about the internet is to NOT FEED THE TROLLS. They LOVE it when you react to them. It gives them some kind of validation to their sad lives…
 
BUT, you can’t honestly go without listening to what they have to say. Cause some will want to give you creative criticisms. So learn the difference between a troll and one that simply wishes to help you along the way. No matter HOW harsh their statements come out.

Dude…. nobody wants to have a ship you an OC of you with flutters, I have my OC that’s a cartoon ver of myself, I shipped my cartoonself with adagio…. anyway, the point I’m trying to make is that your art is crap and just try to get some fucking art lesson on computer art. Cuz dude, nobody cares of how you fell in love with Veggietales. If you want to do that, POST THAT SHIT ON FACEBOOK OR SNAP CHAT! Ahem, sorry, but still, whatever your age is, you just need some fucking practice ok? And quite crying like a fucking crybaby ok? 🙂

Well… why do you think anyone hates you? For starters, anyone ‘not paying attention to you’ doesn’t immediately hate you. They just haven’t found a reason to care. Chill dude. This is the place to come and join together in our mutual love of ponies. You need more then a few hours to start thinking anyone cares OR hates you.
