I’m the same, but the good abuse give a reason that makes sense and the abuse in them reflects that.  
What Putinforgod talked of it what makes a lot of abuse, no matter how well written, is bad.

I like both, really…. Abuse and hugboxing. The quality of it all matters in the end.

The problem is not the fluffies, but the idea of a creature so tiny, harmless and naive that you could destroy without fearing any harm.  
Fluffy abusers exploits this idea to the max, even making up reasons to look like the good guys “They are selfish, they are stupid, they are cheap, they would ram a bus against an orphanage for kids with Leukemia, etc.”.  
If you can’t understand this, think about Apple Acres Massacre and try to identify with the bad guy. That is Fluffy Pony abuse.
