I will volunteer myself to be full-body hugged to prove it’s not that bad. I’ll get Twiggles to hug a snek one day, dammit!
It’s a double-edged sword for their kind. Cuddling and hugging makes them feel better, but it also makes them extra susceptible to flu and cold outbreaks since it spreads easier XD

I’m familiar, yo. I’ve taken care of all sorts of lizards and things; geckos and snakes and whatnot. There aren’t many animals that I don’t love <3 .
Except for wasps and hornets, but hey, I’m allergic xD .
They need lots of love when they get sick: being cold-blooded, colds and fevers hit them harder :D

It’s one of the big reasons there’s tension between ponies and lamias. Lamias are very physical, and hug and cuddle and twine around each other for even very casual shows of affection. Ponies of course are put off by the physical-ness and tend to misinterpret it as an attempt at constricting them. Twilight’s just a step worse because she’s already terrified of snakes XD
A real shame Twilight will never be able to learn the science of the snek.
Nope. It’s a two-way thing too. Twilight just can’t help but be skittish around snakes, and Kalianne’s one nervous wing fluffle away from fangirling XD

As far as we know, she’s very friendly, easily excited, and a little bashful. She was, upon meeting GMHA for the first time, unsure as to whether or not he’d allow her inside his home to warm up. And, when meeting Twilight, went into full fangirl mode upon seeing her wings and horn.
And I will gladly provide care for her.
They need lots of hot soup for warmth and lots of cuddles for comfort :D
