That’s fanart though. The worst canon RD did to Scoots was use her as a garbage disposal back in S1. I want actual canon proof that Rainbow Dash abuses Scootaloo. Or do you people not have any?
 
If anything Rainbow’s a better parental figure than Scootaloo’s own.

Sir/Miss, Canon!Rainbow Dash is NOTHING like that. Just for what it’s worth keep your Rainbow bridge to yourself. Rainbow and Scoots do NOT have a toxic relationship like that. If anything, the “fans” of Dashie who do that are mainly jerks themselves. As for her “mindless encouragement” it’s the exact same kind of thing that Rarity and Applejack do with their sisters. Clearly you haven’t seen enough of the show to realise Rainbow does not abuse her friends (most of the time).

This is honestly just cruel. The source of Scootaloo’s flying problem was obviously neither a lack of effort nor her wing size, which was totally normal for a pony her age. Does Rainbow Dash ever do anything to find the real source of the problem (likely an issue with her pegasus magic)? Does Rainbow Dash ever do anything other than tell Scootaloo to believe in herself and yell mindless encouragement? Nope. She does, however, almost immediately after adopting him, outfit Tank with a magical device that allows him to fly instantly, and even parades this fact in front of poor Scootaloo. Their relationship has deeply unhealthy elements.

Cute, but this was here before.
