Well, this is neat. Also terrifying. Never thought I’d see a ponified Nihilego.

Quite a few people were rather disappointed that she didn’t use a Nihilego in her party, especially since she has an empty slot and there were Nihilegos everywhere.
 
If they’d actually put her in the battle, she would have to have been statted, which would then allow savvy hackers to add NihiLusamine to their party. And she might have gotten a Pokedex entry.

Yeah, but Motherbeast Lusamine kind of makes up for that. Part of me expected her to actually fight the player herself.

Parts of it also sound like Zootopia. I mean, I guess retroactively since obviously a buttload of the material in Zootopia is extremely like stuff furries have created ten, twenty years before Zootopia was created. :3

Mm. That reminds me of a long-running FA fan group called the PCA: Poké Combat Academy. A bunch of users took their collections of PokéOCs and made them the students and faculty of an anthro high school specializing in battles. There’s the machoke jock, the marill cheerleader, the drowzee stoner, the wailord coach, the dodrio track captain, et cetera. Outside of the school setting, I’ve also seen PCA OCs such as Zekrom, the President of Kanto. Matter of fact, the walking, talking humanoid Pokémon concept PCA offered made me become a furry. X3

I once hosted a forum rp wherein a virus was turning random humans into effectively random Pokemon hybrids (such as my own character becoming a half-Lucario). It didn’t last very long. I think I had the idea that the virus was accidentally released by a new evil team that was trying to give its own members Pokemon powers.

I think we were hoping that the UBs were humans turned into pokemon for a darker game, not necessary edgy, but more mature at least.

Was it funny tho that everyone thought that the cockroach one was thought to be the ethur foundation leader?

I think they all have their justifications for the typings they are. The only one that I initially was confused about was Nihilego, but once I found out about that I had no real qualms over UB typing. They are certainly strange and bizarre creatures even by Pokemon standards but they still have reasons for their typing.
