Well, the name “Unicron” is like “Unicorn” but with the O and the R swapped. Unicorns as well as alicorns have one horn but Unicron have two horns because he’s a horned-beast. Speaking of which, Floro Dery, the character designer of the first two seasons of the Transformers G1 cartoon as well as the movie and set designer of the movie, stated in his Transformers Exhibit and Interview since Unicron is a villain in The Transformers: The Movie and because he was fooling around at that time, Dery decided to make him a demonic robot with a goatee, bat-like wings as six spikes and eagle talons for feet. Floro Dery got the idea from the planet Saturn and Satur because Saturn sounds like Satur [presumably meaning satyr] and Satur is synonymous with the Devil. Actually, before he was called “Unicron” there were many early names of Unicron which are Absorber, Unitron, The Amalgamator, Amalgamon, Masticar, and two notable ones The Entity and Ingestor. This would also explain that when Unicroncwas originally called “The Entity”, he is a devil-like planet. And even thought if Primus is like the Yahweh/Jehovah of Transformers, Unicron is like the Satan of Transformers. Floro Dery also stated that it’s the reason he designed the Entity like planet Saturn. Of course in early drafts of the film, The Entity/Ingestor’s disembodied voice would have presented itself to Megatron as merely the master and custodian of the planet Unicron, communicating from somewhere within the planet before the climax of the first and second drafts of the film would reveal that The Entity/Ingestor and planet Unicron were one and the same. However, Floro Dery also said that the writer of the film, Ron Friedman (who was adamantly opposed to kill off Optimus Prime in the same movie), changed it to “Unicron” when he saw the design, probably because of the “horns.”

I like the reference to Transformers Prime

In terms of the dialogue, I mean, it`s a reference to the last few episodes of season 1, One Shall Stand/One Shall Fall, where Miko calls Unicron: “Unicorn” (which also happened in a Season 2 episode)
