The Unspeakable One
I mean, it’s not EXACTLY my headcanon. Everyone knows that Parasprites are just bio-weapons genetically engineered by a long-dead changeling queen and her top generals, with instructions embedded deep in their tiny brains to eat everything inorganic so it will be easier to feed off the last-minute confessions of love made by starving ponies. She was a real nasty one, that unnamed queen.
