Alternatively, this is what Changelings ACTUALLY look like, and the “Bug-Horse” Form is essentially a case of A Form You Are Comfortable With that they have adopted when transitioning to a new Era. Changelings are a species that prides itself on Adaptation to survive, so I wouldn’t put it past them that they would deem a necessity to take on the physical traits of the most widespread lifeform of a region that they are occupying with their newly-hatched young.
Tyranid it is, then.
WHY DID WE NOT GET NIDLINGS BEFORE THIS?
is from Wreck-it Ralph.
Yes!
I call it a Tsuchigumo, named for a spider demon from Japanese mythology. Just saying.
I’d just go with the “Changling Megavolution” tag.
I love my mama!
It’s make your mommas proud time
Battle bug?
It’d be nice to first have confirmation that this is a changeling-specific form, and not merely taking on the form of some other bug monster that Pharynx had seen in the past (though given he is still a nymph at this time that seems unlikely). Plus it retained his red mane/fin so it may be a form he came up with.

I’d say its the latter. The form in this pic is a few times the size of a adult changeling at most, and it seemed to be the larger when he did it as an adult. After all if there were no limits then he could have just changed into something big enough to grab the mole monster and take it away.
Nah, I’m still just seeing zerg. Maybe a primal zerg.
