I’ve been playing around with integrating Daz3D into my Blender workflow, because it is a useful starting tool, and a rich source of resources. The resources tend to need t be pretty heavily edited and modified for me to use them for the things I am doing, but nobody ever said there was a “make art” button. :)
I was partway through ponifying a human base, but I got distracted and ended up making this. Yes, I know she is plantigrade, and has no tail or wings. I’ll deal with those later, but I liked how this series was looking, so I figured I should finish it and publish.
In addition to some Daz3d resources, usual credit goes to CreatorOfPony and JuiceDane for the base head I am using, with my modifications. The HDRI environment is from http://www.hdri-hub.com/hdrishop/freesamples

Sorry for pissing you off. It was just meant to be a frozen turntable, or “bullet time” sort of thing. Doing that with an HDR environment was a fail because of parallax stuff, but I posted it anyway.
Thanks!
Actually, in this case both the model and the background are stationary and the camera is orbiting the origin. The thing is that the background is an hdri environment texture that is mathematically at infinite distance, instead of just a textured plane or skybox, so looking inward through the center past an object makes for weird parallax effects.
TL/DR yup, it doesn’t match, and I intend to figure out how to make it work properly when I can. :)
Yea, the center of the environment rotation is in the camera while the center of the model rotation is in the model itself, which is weird.
Will you try fixing it?
This would give a really awesome bullet time effect!

Yeah, me too, now that I’ve been made aware of it. I can’t unsee it. XD I spent a lot of times on the stills, and the turntable was an afterthought. Lesson learned.

Both. The model is very good, and so is the perspective. Everything looks nice and fluid and lively
Thanks! The model is my WIP combination of CoP’s pony head and a Daz3D Genesis body, and it will be full anthro later. The mane is one part that I put a LOT of work into, and isn’t just an asset I grabbed, though is is loosely based on one.
@ROMfullofpony
Of this specific shot, or of the character in general?
There will be more versions? Great! I really like this
Sadly, I can’t take credit for the clothes modelling. Those are just a slightly modified Daz resource.
Oh god, how did I not see that? XD
Just wait for the alternate version :P
