According to what I’m reading on Amazon and Target reviews, despite its looks, this toy unfortunately seems to be a crappy product as the water breaks the inside of the system, hair falls out of it, and then it starts moving by itself for no reason when not in water, similar problems to this Ariel swimming doll that supposedly “could go underwater” or something, and then started talking randomly, and at one point, black liquid that was a mix of water, mildew, battery acid, and rust came out.
 
Sadly, despite its looks, it looks like it’s a waste of money and I’d suggest getting one of the other sea pony figures instead like this:
 
Or the brushables to make kids happy, take in the pool or something.

This toy looks so adorable and cute, I just hope that it’s waterproof (I’ve heard there was some Little Mermaid Ariel toy that actually leaked black liquid, combination of battery acid, rust and such when it was put in the water)…

G3.5 didn’t officially use the word “seapony” for their hippocampi, so why call hippocampi seaponies at all?

This figure would be great to take in the bathtub and to cuddle it there, unlike with plushies, you don’t have to worry about ruining them. Now if only Applebloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle would get such seaponified figures for the bathtub….. Or at least sea fillies at that size, if Hasbro doesn’t want to do the effort of making sea pony toys for them because they don’t turn into sea ponies themselves…..  
This would be lovely beyond comprehension.

Somehow I feel that Pinkie will be crucial for the Seaquestria part of the Movie. First because she loves swimming so much, and second because Queen Novo’s daughter, Princess Skystars is described as a energic and positive.
