MLP has no story act, it is episodic. Her episodes do not tie into anything, episodes almost never do.
So you decide to mention all the episodes that tie into the season arc (except the Christmas Carol one)? That’s kind of shooting yourself in the foot. And no they haven’t because outside Twilight, they haven’t had any. The last time the Mane 6 were all involved with the two part action was in the Cutie Map, an episode that they weren’t the ones to save the day I remind you and the last time they all worked together and won was in Return of Harmony.

No second prances is slice of life, every little thing she does is slice of life, a hearth’s warming tail is about snowfall frost, and again, the two parters don’t have much impact on the slice of life episodes. And haven’t the mane six had enough 2 parters anyway?

Teixie is a side character, she is not major in any way, The times are a changeling is a spike episode, starlight doesn’t really do anything there, starlight is barely in spice up your life and doesn’t even speak, and again, those changes have little effect on most of the other episodes.

They are much more important than those slice of life episodes though. They are the truly fantastical stories while the regular slice of life stuff is far more mundane. It’s comparing a tax accountant to a Firefighter, with the Mane 6 being the tax accountant.
So, the reappearance of Trixie, Thorax’s debut, the repowering of the map? Being about the only thing Twilight personally worked on during the season?
and seriously don’t think premiers and finales are relevant? Both of which introduced and permanently stuck Glimmer in last season? They’re where most series changing events take place.

no she wasn’t. She was in the premier and finale, which aren’t all that important as they don’t impact most episodes, and the other episodes she had are no more or less important than any other standalone episodes. I’m sick and tired of people making excuses as to how she’s supposedly hogging the spotlight, which by the way, isn’t owed to the mane six anyway.
She was in many episodes relevant to the overall season’s events.

I find that highly unlikely mostly because is there is no reason to revert the lead role from Starlight. She is the one with the arc as well as the remaining plot thread involving Chrysalis as well as the writers more consistently moving away from Twilight as in the past three seasons her role has gotten smaller. Yes she was a big player in the premier and finales Pre season 5 but now that had all but vanished as well. To be perfectly blunt I doubt they’re going to do much with the Mane 6 anymore considering how important Starlight is to them.

Starlight was very important at the last season, cause she is the Twilight’s student/pupil and the writers need her pros and cons. Now in the 7th Twilight will take her main role again.
Well let’s be realistic here, Starlight is the single most important pony in the entire series at this point. Sure collectives like the Mane 6 and the CMC may have greater overall importance but that’s only through a combined effort. The only pony that cone’s close to Starlight’s importance is Twilight and that’s only because of a 6+ year lead Twilight has on Starlight
but the daring do design could be better.
