Fun fact: lamias hiss quietly when content, akin to how a cat purrs. Unfortunately this can lead to problems when a friendly lamia hugs and hisses contently, and it’s mistaken for an aggressive pre-constriction hiss XD

“Hiss hiss hiss” means “I love you”.

The only way this could be better is if the bump beneath (above?) her forelegs was not there. This would imply a very tight backbend and would drive home the flexibility of this snek pone. However, she is already demonstrating impressive spinal flexibility in this picture just not the extreme sharp turns required for us short spined plebs to perform a “bend over backwards” pose with our bodies. I suppose she has enough spare spine to do a long curl with her torso instead of the sharp turns required for those of us with a more limited amount of vertebrae to work with.
 
This just made me think… She has so much spine, imagine if she took up to practicing yoga and perhaps contortion! The things she could do with that long spine would be incredible! It’s kind of like looking at wild animals that are naturally flexible and wondering what extreme contortions they could do with their body if they focused on training their flexibility like a sentient human or like Blossomforth could do. It can be very surprising just how much potential for flexibility everyone has. It takes the focus and dedication of a sentient being to unlock it.
 
I don’t know why, but flexibility is a serious fetish and hobby of mine.
