first teaser trailer
July friendship day some early merchandise will be released
full 1st trailer
August full toyline hits shelves
September
2nd trailer followed by TV spots at the end of the month

It was someone posting about friendship day and getting their information wrong
Because it says promotion starts on friendship day they thought it meant the trailer when it’s actually the toys other merchandise and possibly second trailer.
Cinemacon is happening next week which Lionsgate (the distributer) is attending and I’m expecting to see our first teaser trailer there.

Ah, July, that was it. Could’ve sworn there was a press release or some other thing from Hasbro that said the trailer would be on World Friendship Day though.
Actually they said promotion for the movie starts on friendship day, that means TV spots and social media posts, according to this image https://derpibooru.org/1365630?q=my+little+pony%3A+the+movie that’s in Juy, so an actual trailer might come around next week or next month
But i think a dancing skeleton would be more accurate, because the hype cannot be contained
