I actually agree with you. Anything can be your fetish and some people do find it arousing to be eaten, I even have the Vore fetish myself I find it sexual but others may not. Some people also have dendrophilia which is a fetish for trees and trees aren’t things that are inherently sexual. So I do find it weird why the derpibooru admins have marked Vore as suggestive and questionable.

Parasprites only multiply after they eat, so if Fluttershy hasn’t eaten anything recently, then she’ll probably be fine.

Doesn’t matter. Mods/admins ruled that it’s fetish content so it’s rated questionable. They made a thread debating whether or not there should be a tag for non-sexual vore but basically came to the conclusion that’d be pretty much impossible to define so maybe eventually but for now nope.

things on the show perhaps aren’t inherently sexual no, but this piece of work isn’t from the show, is it? It’s a piece created by an artist who is known for making all sorts if voreish questionable content. while stuff viewed on public TV maybe isn’t inherently sexual, this isn’t from public TV, it’s a piece of fluttershy swallowing another living creature, licking her lips, and giving the camera a somewhat lewd look.
 
Given that it’s made by someone who in the past has made all sorts of lewdish voreish things, plus the way flutters licks her lips and gives that look to the camera, I’m uncertain that calling it ‘safe’ would be the best course of action, because it obviously wasn’t intended to be. If you have an issue with that, take it up with seb, not me.
 
also I was somewhat mistaken with my previous statement, not everything tagged as vore has to be ‘inherently sexual’ but when a work is intended as such (in the above) it’s usually a good idea to mark it as such. I doubt that’s going to change anytime soon.

vore is classified as a fetish. fetishes are inherently sexual. This was made by a vore artist, and it’s suggestive.

So all of this is also inherently sexual? All she’s doing is swallowing a parasprite, if there’s something inherently sexual about that then I guess my entire childhood was filled with blatantly sexual material from basically every cartoon I ever watched because I can’t even name a cartoon that doesn’t do this at some point. Even lots of live action work does this.
 
The act of swallowing something that isn’t dead is an extremely common visual in modern media that has many decades of history. When it isn’t presented in an obviously sexual way, I can see no reason at all that it needs to be branded as “inherently sexual”. Nothing about this image is any different in its presentation from what I linked above, and I firmly believe the show should really be our baseline for what counts as safe on this site.
