The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

Really? I completely missed the implication that their prey eventually dies.

But the real tragedy of the Changelings is they are a species perfect for peaceful coexistence, and are probably shooting themselves in the feet by openly attacking Equestria. They aren’t like dragons, who have to battle their own biology to live peaceful lives. But no drone has the individuality of willpower to challenge the Queen’s self destructive policies.

I always thought of them more like vampires: Tragic in the sense that they can’t help what they are, which technically makes them victims. However, on the other hand, they’re still murdering monsters. Besides, the show heavily implies that they eventually kill the ones they feed off of.

All that they want is love, but will be forever hated because of their bitchy, megalomaniacal queen, and they don’t have enough independent willpower to do anything about it. Tragic, really.
