Oh, if only the bad animation was the only problem.
 
Ignoring the fact that it looks like something that was made in the 90’s…
 
  • The pacing of the first few episodes is completely messed up. They glance over the black swordsman arc and all but omit the lost children arc.
     
  • Most of the character development is completely gutted
     
  • While the soundtrack isn’t by any means awful, it’s not exactly used well.
     
  • The director has absolutely no idea what he’s doing. He’s managed to screw up camera angles (I seriously didn’t think it was possible to do that in an ANIMATED SERIES. But, I have now been proven wrong), the fights that were once epic are confusing in places due to aforementioned drunk camera man or just outright disorienting and frenetic.
     
  • The original English Dub cast has been replaced. I don’t fully know the reasons why, but it still sucks.
