What the hell is so great about realism in a game? You play video games to ESCAPE real life. Is real life war fun where you spend months or years of hard training and when you die you die for good? No? Then why the fuck do you want it in a game?

when you start playing a game, you actually want to feel like you did something. Realistic Multiplayer FPS’s are just barely games. they only count as games because you do something. problem is, your reward is ,more often than not, hearing twelve-year-olds shout out the word ‘faggot’.

actually it’s the other way around apple bloom: Kiddy games these days are the mindless linear modern military shooters on consoles and console ports, while non-kiddie games are the ones that actually require you to think a bit and the ones that deviate away from the cliched MMS formula (Like Skyrim and Fallout and Borderlands and such)

I think Borderlands 2 is a hidden message saying that not all games especially FPS’s have to be realistic. Besides, when you get shot in Call of duty you don’t REGENERATE health in real life by not getting shot for a few seconds. Now that I’m done ranting, I’m going to bed.
