If you’re looking for a reason, the image is fetish and idea-based. Transformation into inanimate objects is a common interest, as are diapers, which both can seem benign and strange even to those who have them. Why this fetish exists I can’t explain – I’ve spoken to a psychologist about various fetishes before and not even he could give me an answer, except to say people’s interests are triggered by different things throughout their lives, usually early life.
 
The idea of being turned into a diaper – and being used to do what a diaper does – is a sign of power for the winner (especially if he or she wears it or puts it on a friend of loser), and humiliation for the loser… moreso if the loser retains some sentience, and even moreso if the loser is turned back after use, even for a moment, to remember instinctively “liking” being used… because that’s what a diaper does, it makes sense a living diaper should have some instinct.
