You are not the only one, I also love most of the MLP characters, of course except for some genuinely obnoxious ones like Esvengallop, who squeezed Pinkie Pie so much that it had her on the verge of tears.
And I don’t think Pinkie can be completely compared to Mabel, since at least Pinkie is usually considerate of others and does not usually have that malicious and selfish attitude that Mabel is so characterized by.
I honestly never had an issue with her, even in her most ridiculous/silly/strange/creepy moments.
I honestly must be the only brony who doesn’t really hate any MLP:FIM character. Or at least to a “can’t stand them” degree.

Funny thing is, Lauren Faust said she originally wanted Pinkie even more “nuts” then she was, but Hasbro made her tone her down.
Think of that for a moment, the “Pinkie Pie,” we got is a “toned down” version.

that’s not what I said. What I said is that one episode where she’s not written well does not mean she’s written poorly all the time.
What kind of logic is that? Just because she traumatized Fluttershy despite knowing how fragile she is in ONE episode means it doesn’t count?
According to these “this is not x” images, it does.
That was only one episode. ONE. One episode is not indicative of the entire show.
