the secret to proceeding in life is anyone who says you have to earn something to do something is full of shit. do what you can, not what you should, because you’ll always regret holding back for someone else’s sake. they don’t have your best interests in mind. they don’t have some wisdom you don’t. they’re just squatting defensively on their territory like any other ape, and we’re all clueless about who should be allowed to do what where.
 
or maybe not. I’m like the opposite of successful, so my advice is kinda lame. but there’s nothing I regret more than taking someone’s advice that I’d thank myself for this in the future.
