Technically, “我” is also Japanese for “I”, but it’s a little more verbose than “私”, which is way more common. In Chinese, “我” means “I” and it is also quite common. So we’re both right lol.
Actually, I only know Russian and English. I translated Skutečně through virtual keyboard and Google Translate, and backtraced 我 by feeding “I” to ‘Eng->Jp’ Google Translate and searching for similar looking results. It’s surprising it’s turned out right at all.
