Considering we likely have only 5 songs because Ingram was busy with the film they most likely did in fact have to make choices about how to allocate his time.
this was a good use of time though. Fantastic song.
It’s really not. What Ihhh means is that “five” simply denotes the number of songs in this season; it does not indicate that the season had only 5 slots available for songs or that the crew was working with a predetermined restriction of 5 songs.
I’m reminded of people saying ‘wasted character slots’ for Smash Bros

I’ve seen a few comment like “well there was another one of the songs used” and so on, like some are making a big deal over it.
Not sure if it’s them having a problem, just counting, or joking around.

That certainly sounds like a limited number of slots you can ‘use up’.
Does it really matter how many there are?
We can have a season with no songs at all, as long as the episode are good then it won’t matter.
The songs do not make the episode, it’s how and where they are used.
