And French: Lundi (Monday) from Lune (Moon).
Though some languages go in a whole different direction. Polish has “poniedziałek” which, taking the word apart (po nie działać), means “after no work”, referring to Sunday being the day of rest. Paraphrasing slightly, Monday in Polish is named “Get back to work!”

Monday comes from ‘moon’, the same logic goes for the same word in Spanish: ‘Lunes’ and it comes from ‘Luna’ precisely.
So Mondays are ‘the days of the Moon’, shouldn’t Luna love it?
