Trixie woke to a teal, light flashing in the corner of her eye. The dead creature, slumped her body out of bed, preparing her throat for the beast that woke her.
‘Trixie demands that you stop reading, this instant!’ The culprit turned to face her friend, who was trembling in the cold nights air, nose dripping and eyes bloodshot from lack of sleep.
‘Hold on, I’m nearly finished this chapter’ Starlight replied as she continued to read.
‘Liar’ Trixie moaned, pouting at her friend’s refusal to obey her orders.
Silence fell over the two unicorns, until Starlight declared a proposal.
‘You’re welcome to sit with me till I’m done.’
This made Trixie even angrier, but without the strength to fight back, she accepted the offer and slouched herself over Sarlight’s shoulder. Her actions bringing a smile to her friend’s face.
‘are you finished yet’ Trixie groaned.
‘just a Sec’ replied Starlight.
Minutes passed and Trixie had fallen asleep from the warmth Starlight emitted.
It would be an hour till Starlight would realise.carrying her friend to bed, with a quick wet nuzzle Goodnight. The two drifted off to sleep, curled up in each other’s bodies.
