I was a terrible person who made a terrible comment when I originally posted Cherry Spices back in October 2011. Said comment was in regards to having lightened Cherry’s dark brown fur and was ridiculously insensitive (not to mention the act of lightening her fur in the ‘interests’ of a ’better palette’ was also really messed up to begin with!). I’ve known I screwed up for a long while, since I deleted said comment ages ago, but I’m aware there’s at least one reblog of the original post that has that comment preserved, and it’s partially preserved in the source link for derpibooru’s stolen upload.
 
I did a really, genuinely terrible thing, and to make up for it (though I don’t deserve to be forgiven) here’s a much better drawing of Cherry with her toy’s original fur colour restored. I also gave her hair a purple sheen to harken to her toy’s purple hair.
