The Mentally Advanced Series is coming to a close, to be replaced with the Nepotism Adventure Series!
I don’t know how I feel about that, on one hand it will probably be lots of fun, but on the other MAS has always been more than it’s own little thing, with its own universe and its own characters, with their history, personalities, goals aaaaand I am gonna miss it.
Anyway, I chose to draw this with Petirep’s style and still I can’t manage to get Rainbow Dash right! No matter how many times I redrew her, she just can’t be as cute as the original, but I am proud of how Pinkie came out, yes!

Most certainly he lost interest in the show, but he is also in his thirties now and he is starting to build a family. And there is the whole “youtube sucks” thing.
I kept following him and at times I still watch some of his videos, but he has pretty much stopped making content or anything substantially interesting even if we ignore MAS or general Pony content.
Though it seems that the main reason he moved from it was his passion for the show dwindling and the great Glimmer wall.

Nah this is very much relatable. During my younger school days especially. I can’t help but feel empathy. But that’s enough out of me. In conclusion MAS and RDP are still a relatively good series overall despite that one gripe I have.

Eh, don’t compare yourself to characters like this, you do speak up for yourself so you aren’t all that insecure. Also you admit it. People with low self-esteem hide it behind a mask, like a smiling face that ridicoulises everything and acts all smart to convince himself that he’s a great person that feels no silly emotions and AAAAAAH

Well I for one don’t think it’s all that funny. Call me the “No Fun Police” but I can’t find the humor in someone who suffers from insecurities and low self-esteem issues. Just hits a little too close to home.

Damn shame then. Oh well, Greg is quite a good writer, there’s a good chance it will be entertaining.
From what I have understood NAS is going to be a completely different thing, with a different cast and a different direction. It won’t be a cynical version of MLP anymore , it will just ridiculize the latest season and highlight the consequences of the characters terrible decisions. And then give them a reward for it!
I doubt that this Twilight Sparkle would be functional in any of this, or that MAS Celestia could be defeated in every single episode.
Did I get it right, or did I mixed something up?
