Twilight seems… I dunno. Does she think it’s silly? Is she dubious? I wonder why.
 
I think it makes a lot of sense for Spike to bow to Twilight. His self-worth is attached to her, and it always has been. The more she achieves, the more that positively affects how he feels about himself. Being her assistant fills him with pride. She deserves to be bowed to, and that makes him feel better about himself. It’s a sort of co-dependence.
 
Owlowiscious is a different story. He basically hired himself to her. We don’t know much about his motivations. She saved his life during Tirek’s assault, but other than that where does his loyalty come from? Why haven’t we seen him in a season?
 
In short, I picture Twilight saying: “It’s nice that you’d both bow to me, but don’t make a habit of it.”
