So many good questions this week!
Royal Jelly is actually a real thing, look it up! XD I thought it would be fun to incorporate some real life bug qualities into my changelings. Obviously it has more magical properties in this world but you get the idea.
And I got inspiration for the different types of love from the Greeks. I’m kind of a mythology nerd at times
Does it have the negative connotations for changelings that we other beings ascribe to it?
If King Thorax is any indication, then Changelings are more like termites than bees, since termites have kings as well as queens.
On the other hand, if she does somehow get enough, and she has a child, her child would be a Queen. She’d have a lot of explaining to do for Mako, though, considering the baby would obviously be a changeling, and as far as Mako knows so far, neither of them is.
I think the next question to ask would be the youngest age at which a changeling can effectively disguise itself, since that seems relevant.

Well, it’d at least mean being fertile, which is the most important part of queen-ness to an independent changeling.
not a queen but just a fertile female. they are kind of like a Stewardess, who helps run the hive in the absence of the queen until the new queen is of mature age.
