You usually get the final reward in these “Amazing Adventures” even if you don’t finish the previous tasks (it also doesn’t say “you need to complete the previous chapter first”).

Oh, I’ve left this game alone for a couple of years once. I picked it back up again with the Daring Do event update. In the middle of that mega-quest (or whatever they call it) I finally got Princess Twilight, defeated Chryssi, and started the Crystal Empire. I also didn’t play until this latest update, so I just started To Where and Back Again.

However, I missed the Pinkie Party event, and by extension one of two gem producing shops in the game (plus all the decorations, piles of confetti, etc). Likewise, I’d imagine the cutie marks at the end of this event to be only obtainable by people who finish this event.

At one point, I was not playing my game for a few years, and when I returned, there were additional quests from past updates. I had defeated Chrysalis and Tirek, but had yet to finish the Princess Twilight quest arc. :j

I would imagine Button would end up in Ponyville, given that’s where he’s appeared the most. Not sure about the others, could go either way… Perhaps all Ponyville? The other school ponies(?) are all there, only the CMC and a couple of other foals are in Sweet Apple Acres.
 
Also, does this mean people who miss the event don’t get CMC cutie marks? Ouch.

Then scissors non-canon confirmed? The only times it’s officially been seen are a Facebook post and one of the comics…

I don’t think so. From the trailer I’ve seen, it’s only Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo.

I guess Babs gets her cutie mark from this chapter?

Are they ALL playable in the Sweet Apple Acres area, or do they live in separate places?
