This art has a lovely relaxing quality to it, probably because of nice watercolors.

Someone creating art is not a “waste” - or “not worth the effort”. And comparing a daily sketch to professional work is not a constructive criticism.

no no no no. mlp has no facial shadowing. thats what im saying. why would i care about other cartoon in derpibroo which is made for mlp. i know there are many detailed cartoon like adventure time(early season) but yeah it got less detailed now because its not easy or not worth effort. because its going down…

well you know i dont know about the artist had actually fun but this is requested and its so simple and thats what im saying. relatively. ive seen this guys gallery and there was more original works. 
about the effort, well im sorry about that. i said its wasted because this is what most art students can easily do not for professional. though i shouldnt say about the artists effort. if you got offended im sincerelly sorry about that.

Your criticism is very subjective. There are many cartoons that have shadows, many cartoons that have detailed express, many works of traditional art that have no outline or heavy outline.
 
If you simply don’t like this artist’s style, or don’t believe people should recreate scenes from the show, please filter this artist and do not comment on their art any more.

more specifically,in case you dont get it, cartoon characters are usually have no shadow,no detailed expression, or anatomically worng pose.  
also when you draw traditional art, its quite annoying to draw their outline. in case of mlp they have thick lines and they are in color.  
normal pencil wont do shit. at least 8B or colored pen or pencil or whatever will do. but come on. this one is not original work. i will give this guy if he or she used at least original pose. not based on screencap. if the artist read this no offense.  
pretty color is nice but selecting subject should be more concerned.

drawing screencap of a cartoon in traditionalart is quite fun but not worth effort because it is cartoon. not even anime or movie scene.
