Uh huh, but the German trailer DOES have updated footage.
From my understanding, this trailer was made and screened about a month ago. If updated footage was put together for the German trailer, you can bet the next English trailer will, too.
Here’s hoping the next trailer doesn’t have anymore shadow problems.
No, it’s a complete dub of the original trailer. The German trailer, for all its faults, was made from scratch with updated footage.
I hereby decree we name the Storm King “Leroy Storm”.
That’s where the name comes from, actually.
Part of the reason could be that they might not have even chosen the final voices for the movie yet. It’s common for the trailers in secondary languages to be dubbed separately, and as such the exact voices or lines are subject to change.
I wish the German trailer did the same.
Instead a screen appears saying ‘With all the ponies and many new characters.’ (translation)
