She used to be a pony. But she has a problem with pets that have fur?

I’m not saying it’s impossible, just somewhat odd, I think. Isn’t there a difference between tolerating (and even liking) your friends’ pets and petting random cats you see on the street despite not having even a remote interest in owning one someday?  
But yeah, I admit that I didn’t know much about guinea pigs and their tendency to shed fur, so this may be the reason after all.

You do know it’s not mutally exclusive, right? Sunset has been shown carrying spike a lot, and she clearly likes the HuMane 6’s pets in the short. Doesn’t mean she wants to have a pet with fur on her loft.
 
I love dogs, always pet one on that lives on the street of my house, and I got a shi-tzu that I love to death. Doesn’t mean I like it when they get hair all over my clothes (my dog specially, he’s got long fur that he sheds and always ends up in my towels and change of clothes).

DHX Sunset Shimmer interrupts her mad dash to the school to happily pet a random cat. Boulder Media Sunset Shimmer doesn’t like furry animals. Go figure.

I wish my guinea pig would be as sociable as this one… and less bitey.
