Well, if you’re truly committed to chaos, wouldn’t agreeing to abide by a specified set of rules at all pretty much mean you’ve lost?
 
Or maybe the competition was actually his last idea, and anything other than that was just filling time.
 
Or maybe the dimension just likes Discord better, and that was his intent of making it judge.
 
Or maybe it’s a typo and all we can really do is pick the least objectionable explanation and run with it. Because it’s still a pretty decent story.
