Just going to point out about the last one, declared death in absentia, or legally declared dead despite the absence of direct proof.
This is normally done when one has been missing for an extended period of time, there being reason to believe they have died.
If that happened then AJ and others would believe they are dead even if they are alive but only missing, so would talk as if they are dead.
It’s not likely to be the case but it is somthing to remember.

I also refused to accept that they’re dead, but after input from Lauren Faust and some show writers there may be no denying it.
And before y’all say Lauren doesn’t work on the show anymore or they can change their minds.
The biggest things that got be on the they’re dead side was the hints, especially the one at the end of crusaders of the lost mark.
Also if they were missing why would Applebloom say mom and dad left us something to remember them by.
