It explains absolutely nothing.
You were completely wrong. Also, the show has only ever had 3 writers on an episode once. Story credits do not count.
Edited
Damn I hate it when peole answer when I am still writing but yeah that is an editor
A story editor is someone that looks over the scripts and make sure that the characters locations and so on don´t interfere with the alreasy established world. A professional nitpicker
But hey maybe I am wrong and it was the first time there have been 3 editors like@Jarkes said
As others point out, the editors are there to make sure the story flows with the overall show theme and season, catching continuity errors, etc. The writers are the one with the actual plot and dialog tasks. Having more editors is generally a good thing, having more writers is not.
I don’t think you know what a story editor is, and AFAIK, there have never been 3 story editors before.
I think you’re confusing “editors” with “writers”. This is the first time we’ve ever actually had 3 story editors at one time.
I’m especially confused because I’m pretty sure this is the first time there has ever been 3 story editors for the show at once.
We’ve had episodes with 3 writers before, but not story editors.
Feels like everytime they have more than 1 or 2 editors on a story it fails.
Too many cooks spoil the broth kinda stuff
I do not understand your question.
Why do they keep making the same mistake of 3 editors if the episodes only get bad.
Maybe not, but the lack of one implies a pairing and separation that it shouldn’t.
