Well, yes, that was obvious. I’m just saying pretty much everything, edit or not, takes inspiration from something else.
Don’t mind me though. I’m just an idiot that doesn’t know anything about art. I chose to take drafting and design in high school.
This is clearly an edit as my original linework is maintained.
I’ve been seeing more and more artwork that’s either an edit or really close to another artist’s style. It makes me question if edits are just parodies, in which case they’re actually new pieces of artwork. But they’re not because they pull inspiration from another piece.
This is why art is subjective and I’m not an artist. That, and I’m terrible at drawing anything. I’m a fraud and I just trace things.
