A good example of color blindness, and it does make them look (even more) ‘same’.
 
Still, I prefer the theory that Ember is not used to visually differentiating ponies,  
which are MUCH MORE similar to each other than dragons.  
And Twilight and Starlight are very similar looking compared to most,  
in terms of colors and patterns.
